House Boriss joins Westeros

I love Game of Thrones.  I've listened to all of the audiobooks up to and including "A Dance with Dragons", and I watched the first 2 seasons in a 3 day marathon, and I have huge nerd crushes on both Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targarion*.

So yes, I am SUPER EXCITED for season 3. More excited than Cookie Monster with a cookie the size of a manhole cover. 

However, I would never wish in a million years to actually be a part of that universe.  If you've read the books, you know that no one is safe, everyone is either a backstabber or gets backstabbed at some point, and everything that can possibly go wrong, will go wrong. I wouldn't even wanna visit for a day.  The food sounds delicious, but it's not worth it for me to risk getting my head chopped off, hung on a wall, and have my eyes eaten by crows.  No thanks!

Still, designing my own sigil - thanks to the Game of Thrones "Join the Realm" Sigil Creator - is just as fun, or possibly even MORE so since there's no risk of death and/or dismemberment.  Thanks, HBO!

I don't think I could make a more appropriate sigil if I TRIED.  ;)

Occasionally I like to do quick, simple, & cheap commissions as a break from longer, more involved work. Often that ends up being badges, but when even THAT is too much for my poor overworked brain to handle, I do silly stuff like these. :)

More Art Doll Progress...

I actually worked on it a bit more a week or so ago, but am only now getting the chance to upload a few photos. ;^_^  Not that much has changed; I added mouth details and some extra spiney-bits to the head, paw pads to the hands, and sculpted up some feet.  I also made a couple of horns, but i'm not sure if I want to leave them separate and attach them once I construct the doll, or attach them to the clay head now.  Decisions, decisions!

FCN is about a month away, so I'd like to get started on some badge preorders for those of you going to the convention. The theme this year for FCN is "Mad Science", so in celebration of that I'd like to offer badges fitting of that theme. You can choose to either be a scientist - complete with lab coat, beakers, goggles, electrodes, or any other scientific doodadery - OR you can be a genetically mutated monster! The choice is yours. Inix & Hida - 2 part Commission

I've done a number of commissions for "Hida", and they're always a joy to do.  Namely because he gives me lots of freedom and flexibility to have some fun with his pieces.  The only instructions I was given for these was that in one picture, his little dragon character gets sat on, and about to get eaten in the other.  Ahh, the dangers of being tiny.  

His only other request I have one of my BPD girls in the pictures, but my choice as to who.  I had already done these 2 themes with Lizardbeth, so I decided to go with Inix.
